Dandenongs

The North-West, Oasis Country
The north-western corners of Victoria including the south-west of New South Wales comprise to form the oasis country. National parks are mostly found in the Mallee region which lies to the south of Mildura. Goldfields
The place is just an hour's drive through the Western Highway from Melbourne. It is bounded by Ballarat, Bendigo, Stawell, St Arnaud and Ararat. The region proudly boasts of providing entertainment to adventurers and historians. It also displays wide and rich art and culture.

Macedon Ranges and Spa Country
The place ranges from the outskirts of Melbourne, on the International Airport side. Macedon Ranges and Spa Country is one of Victoria's most easily accessible and alluring regions. The place can be reached within two hours on nearly all the direct routes. Towards the north on the Calder Freeway or northeast on the Tullarmarine Freeway, the route takes you directly into the Macedon Ranges. The Western Freeway to Ballan is easily accessible if the ultimate destination is Spa Country.

The Murray

The Grampians
This beautiful region of splendor and breathtaking beauty has witnessed four hundred million years now. The region of Grampians boasts of sheer slopes, dense forests and crystalline lakes. Also present are spectacularly majestic waterfalls roaring over rock formations and tumbling into mist cloaked valleys. The place plays abode to abundant fern growth and lichen encrusted rocks.

The Europeans first visited the Grampians in 1836 when Major Thomas Mitchell, the then Surveyor General of NSW, came upon the area. For the less enthusiastic, canoeing on the serene lakes or the gently flowing rivers might be ideal.
Gippsland - Natural Discovery
