Western Australia
Western Australia possesses three regions that lie separate. These regions are The Great Plateau, the Coastal Plains and the Scarplands in between. The Great Plateau includes 90 percent of the land surface, whereas the Coastal Plains cling to the edge.
Some of the major attractions include the spectacular wildflowers in the South. These flowers seem to carpet the countryside in the spring. The Darling Range offers fine wine as it is home to lush vineyards. The Rottnest Island is an unspoiled west coastline, ranging to many hundreds of kilometers. The coastline boasts of white sand and crystal clear waters.
The distances of places in this city are so long that only people who can afford and have the time to do so, can tour by car. The journeys too are very difficult. Western Australia is best explored by air and hire car.
One can start with sight-seeing in Western Australia from Perth and Fremantle as these places are blessed with the best Australian weather. The next destination could perhaps be Derby or Wyndham, a base to explore the Kimberleys. It could even be Kalgoorlie, where the gold rush started.
