Myanmar, popularly known as Burma, is probably one of the most fascinating countries of the world. Little known, imbued with a mystique, and not greatly trammeled, the country offers you places of tourist attractions and a rich culture. Burma displays various scintillating Buddhist structures and temples commonly known as the ‘pagodas’.

Enchanting mountains and lush greenery as well as magnificent cities adorn the country and enhance its beauty. The people of Myanmar are warm and have a welcoming nature and their personality reflects their culture and tradition. A majority of the people in this place live in the lowland regions of the Ayeyarwady River. The country is one of the richest rice-growing regions. Myanmar forms the abode to many racial groups. Burmese is the official language of this place.

Myanmar is a difficult country to access as far as travel is concerned. But the place houses such wonderful and naturally magnificent sights that one feels a tug to come back for more. The basic diet of the people of this place is rice and curry. Fish is the most loved delicacy here. Festivals are intricately woven into the fabric of Burma.
