  1. Zimbabwe (IPA: [zɪmˈbɑbweh]), officially the Republic of Zimbabwe, and formerly known as the Republic of Rhodesia, is a landlocked country in the southern part of the continent of Africa, between the Zambezi and Limpopo rivers.
